I keep reading Facebook posts that contain the title “Learn how to manage your Crohn’s Disease”. Why are we trying to simply manage this disease and not look for a way to put an end to it?? I personally would like to see more of these organizations show us ways to heal/reverse crohn’s by cultivating health.
This way of thinking where we simply manage the disease through medicine, has caused us to truly lose hope to the point that many think a cure just does not exist. Who can blame these people when they are told constantly that there is no cure or way to go back to a normal life. The ones who spread this idea around are doctors and even organizations out to help people. It is those like myself and many others who think and research on our own that find a way out of all of this brainwashing.
We all need to accept the fact that our medical approach is simply not working. Feeling completely normal again with no symptoms by using an immune system lowering drug is just not the right way to go. This is a temporary fix because I have read many that bounce around from one drug to the other. It will work for a while, but then another drug is needed because symptoms return.
If you want to truly feel better, you need to look at how you got to this current point. I was eating a ton of carbs, wheat, processed food and dairy along with overuse of antibiotics for years before. What do you think really caused this in the first place?? The next thing you really need to do is make BIG changes and focus mainly on purifying your Gi tract. Your goal is to overturn the harmful imbalance with food, probiotics and raw fresh juices. No medicine can do this for you!
So get on the internet and find people like myself who have thought differently and as a result are proving the medical community wrong. Good luck!!

Today’s Green Juice:
- 1 apple
- 1 pear
- 3 carrots
The link above provides a nice guide for what to eat and what not to eat if you have small intestine bacterial overgrowth which is one of the driving forces for Crohn’s individuals. As you scan the do not eat side quickly you see sugar, bread/wheat and processed food items. On the opposite side you see more natural foods and ingredients and I think that difference is obvious by now.
Sugar – The white refined sugar that is added to most food these days feeds the harmful bacteria. They thrive on it! Some people get gas pretty quickly after eating it and some even feel nausea shortly after. The non-medical world is naming sugar as point for your body because it sets off this imbalance that is hard to correct.
Wheat – This grain is not the same as it was long ago. It is basically a mutated version and we are eating it in almost everything. The worst of it that you can consume is bleached flour where they actually use bleach to get it bright white. Wheat is inflammatory and not very easy to digest. Flour also turns into sugar that then feed the SIBO.
Processed Food – This is the worst of the two because it combines the two above in one food. There can be many forms of sugar within the food itself along with wheat and other chemicals/preservatives. This food feeds the bacteria and they can even control your cravings so that they can get the food they want.
When you remove these foods the bacteria starve and your cravings get stronger. You need to be strong and resist! Add in the juicing and now you are destroying them and flushing them out. At the same time you are flushing in vitamins, enzymes, phytonutrients and probiotics to take the place of the harmful bacteria.
SIBO Juice Recipe:
- 1 Bell Pepper
The top three are your bacteria killers and provide you with a ton of chlorophyll. The bacteria and yeast do not like this oxygen filled part of the juice. The apple and lemon are there to help cover the bitter flavors. The apple also cleanses out the colon and the lemon has anti-inflammatory properties just like the ginger.
If you really can’t handle the green taste in this drink you can add more apple or possibly red grapes. Even though this is sugar, it is not nearly as bad as white refined versions!!
Many months ago I wrote a post about my lack of allergies and that it was the first time in years of having few to no symptoms. I found out that it was the ginger which was a natural antihistamine.
I have also noticed that I have very little body odor even when wearing no deodorant at all. I still take one shower per day and I only try this out on the weekends. So today I decided to go out and get 10 large bags of soil in the 90 degree heat and plant an organic garden wearing zero deodorant. By the end of the day I still had zero odor!!! So strange right!

I have also been experimenting with organic wheat grass tablets because I have not been able to get the supplies for juicing/growing it yet. I also believe that this supplement eliminates body odors also.
So if you are having issues with excessive body odor even with deodorant, clean up your diet and get the green juice in your body. Pretty amazing changes take place!
When I am creating a new recipe I am usually thinking 90% for health and how it will lead to even greater health down the line. This leaves 10% for taste and I don’t really care about the taste if it is super healthy. All recipes that I post on this blog site are for the most part tasty enough for the general public – haha. With that said, here is another super tasty/good for you mix I created today. This is a really good one!! I focused on the taste while putting it together and then looked up all the health benefits that you see below afterward.
- 1 peeled kiwi – Immunity, fatigue, ulcers
- 1 pear – Anti-inflammatory, Cancer prevention, Immunity, colon health, fatigue
- 2 peeled oranges – Immunity, ulcers, fatigue, prevent cancer cells
- 3 carrots – Alkaline, cancer fighter, anti-inflammatory, ulcer healer, fatigue
- 1/2 bulb fennel – Cancer fighter, gas fighter, digestion
- 1 bell pepper – Antibacterial, anti-fungal, cancer prevention, immunity, blood clot prevention
- 1 inch ginger – Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, fatigue, immunity, gas pains
Well I learned today that even when you are thinking about taste to create a recipe, the health is always there no matter what. Give this one a try. It creates a large amount of juice so you can cut it in half if you wish.
