Well it has been an interesting 2 years of juicing for Crohn’s Disease. There have literally been blocks in the road that have taught me that I don’t know everything and I needed to change my approach. I almost quit this site after the second blockage/hospitalization due to stress, but over time I figured things out and kept up the good fight.
I have been juicing daily and sometimes every other day for over 2 years. I truly believe that if I just stuck to my prescription medication alone, I would have had more issues along the way. The most important thing I have learned is that you need to take your medication as prescribed, but you also need to add something natural to it. You can add in juice, make shakes, take turmeric capsules, oregano oil and supplement green powder if needed. You need to do something extra in addition to your medicine to fully take on this disease. Medication leads to more medication and it needs a helper.
Here are some key things that I have learned about juicing over these 2 years:
- It gives you tremendous energy and mental clarity – even early am.
- It brings in oxygen and chlorophyll, to kill cancer cells.
- It heals the lining of your damaged intestines.
- It is anti-inflammatory for Crohn’s and other diseases.
- It makes you look younger.
- It is antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic.
