- Turmeric – 2 inches/2tsp
- Ginger – 1/2 inch
- Honey – 1+tbs
- Cinnamon – 2tsp
- Almond Milk – 8-12oz
Here is a nice warm drink for the holidays that just might solve a few gastro issues for you. Four out of the five ingredients are anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-fungal.
Get your juicer out and juice the turmeric and ginger before you start the other mix. You can juice more turmeric than ginger. If you do not have a juicer then you can buy powdered turmeric to add into the milk instead. You can also grate the ginger into the milk, but will need to strain it later on.
Warm up the milk, honey and cinnamon just before boiling. Add in the juiced ginger/turmeric and stir in. Top off the drink with more cinnamon on top and enjoy.
