My Saturday Super Boost + Recipes

My day starts at 7:30am and out the door! The very first thing I pick up is Kombucha fermented tea, which is filled with good probiotics and a few super foods.  This stuff is better than coffee as it gives you a nice energy/mood boost without the jittery feeling.

Back in the car and over to Earthfare’s juice bar for a shot of wheatgrass!! This one shot has the nutritional value of 2.5 lbs of fruits and vegetables.

Back in the car and over to Trader Joe’s for the weekly juice supplies and tried a cold pressed bottled juice.

  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 2 apples
  • ginger
  • a few sprigs of mint
  • 1/4 pineapple

Finally making it home for the morning breakfast juice:

  • 6 Carrots
  • 2 Apples
  • 1 beet
  • 1/2 Fennel
  • Kale
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Green bell pepper

Afternoon Power Green Juice + Probiotic

  • 1 Yellow Zucchini
  • 1/4 Pineapple
  • 2 Apples
  • 3 Oranges
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1 Lemon
  • Kale
  • Ginger

Now this has all been on an empty stomach due to the fact that I was going to try for a 1 full day juice cleanse.  I decided that I am hungry and I want to eat – haha!  I know I am weak!  I think one more juice will be in order for later on and this one is just the simple ABC!

  • 2 Apples
  • 1 Beet
  • 4 Carrots

I envy anyone who has made it through a 1,3,28,30 or 60 day + juice fast.  If you cannot make it like myself -haha, try a weekend boost day.  Have a great weekend!

  1. *.Mr. Hayden Hello . Would you recommend the use of ginger, turmeric instead?Have you ever tried?Thanks for your answer*.


    • When it comes to anti-inflammatory properties, ginger is great but turmeric is the king and you really can’t taste it in the juice as it mixes in well. Ginger however will let you know it’s there!!
