I have mentioned the idea of alkalinity in previous posts by way of a food chart. It is widely known that eating a processed food filled diet with wheat and dairy can create a body that is highly acidic. A highly acidic body leads to tons of different diseases including cancer and autoimmune conditions.
Juicing is all about bringing your acidic body back to an alkaline state. Even the most acidic fruits like lemons and limes become alkaline once ingested. Your immune system loves an alkaline environment and Crohn’s Disease just love acidic where inflammation can run rampant.
Here are some major Alkaline creators:
- Spinach, kale, parsley, cilantro, collards, dill ect = all leafy greens!!!
- Bell Pepper
Disease cannot live and thrive in an alkaline environment. Juicing is the ideal way to do this and it only takes about 15 minutes a day.
- 3 carrots (orange/purple)
- 1 pear
- 1/2 lime
- 1 kiwi peeled
- 3 celery stalks
- 1/2 fennel bulb
