Beets = Blood Detox



I have been making so many drink combos with beets that I just had to dedicate a post to how awesome they are!  Beets are bright red when juiced and it is no wonder that they cleanse the blood and bring oxygen to it.  Beets provide excellent energy to athletes due to this oxygen delivery to the blood.  One might say that beets are a cure all juice ingredient.  If you cleanse your blood of toxins and other harmful components and your blood goes all over the entire body, you just might feel your ailments melt away.  Here are some other benefits that beets provide:

    • The cool thing with beets is that you can test how clear your digestive tract is – which should be about 12-18 hours. The not so fun thing is thinking that you are bleeding when it is just beets – bad memories!!
